Corporate purchase

Land is purchased directly by a corporation or institution and placed in the conservancy. The purchasing entity owns carbon absorption, the preservation of biodiversity, and the opportunity to develop social benefits.

Developer/Investor Purchase

Land is purchased by a real estate developer or fund that plans to sell carbon credits to maximize financial return while participating in biodiversity preservation and the potential creation of social benefits. Conservation intent is paramount.
