Brightwater OFFERS 3 INVESTMENT MODELS
Brightwater has 3 investment models that have biodiversity attributes and blue carbon assets, naturally providing social, environmental, and economic benefits.
1. Coastal land purchase and conservancy
A) Corporate Purchase:
Land is purchased directly by a corporate or institution and placed in conservancy. Purchasing entity owns carbon absorption, the preservation of biodiversity, and the opportunity to develop social benefits.
B) Developer/Investor Purchase:
Land is purchased by a real estate developer or fund which plans to sell carbon credits to maximize financial return, while participating in biodiversity preservation and potential creation of social benefits. Conservation
intent is paramount.
2. Carbon and biodiversity credit partnerships
Brightwater identifies high-quality, long-term carbon credit projects for companies to invest in that meet corporate net-zero, nature-positive goals, as well as allow them to participate in biodiversity preservation and social benefit development.
3. Legacy conservation projects
Brightwater identifies high-quality, long-term conservation projects that will significantly contribute to restoring and preserving threatened ecosystems (such as mangroves, seagrasses, and coral reefs), preserving biodiversity for endangered species (wildlife and fisheries), and improving local communities' education and economic potential.
Our models are different
They cut through the noise and simplify the approach to fulfilling sustainability goals and moving beyond Net Zero to nature-positive with a focus on scale and speed.
