ELIZABETH WILLMOTT
Commercial Strategy
& Partnerships Advisor

Elizabeth has worked in sustainability and climate for over 20 years, across public, nonprofit, and private sectors. From 2016 to 2024 she helped lead Microsoft's sustainability team, including writing the company's carbon negative commitment, launching its carbon removal program, and co-leading the redesign of its internal carbon fee. Today she has a thriving sustainability advisory practice for corporations, early-stage startups, and nonprofits, in addition to an individual coaching service for climate professionals on work-life balance, values alignment, and entrepreneurship.  She loves helping people bring clarity, structure, and strategic alignment to environmental work.  She received a B.A. in biology and Chinese language from Williams College, and a master's in public policy from Harvard University.
